Big Fish Boat Rentals &Firewood Co has been renting out boats and selling firewood at Eagle Valley Reservoir for 10 years and we consider ourselves to be very fortunate people.  We are grateful that so far we have survived the financial crisis that has crushed many other small businesses and just "regular people".  We thank our loyal customers and John and Pat who own Eagle Valley Resort.  Also, The Nevada Division of State Parks has been a help to us and the public by maintaining and keeping up the Park and its facilities.  All in all it has been fun for us to deal with the outdoor people.  In 10 years of business we have taken only one bad check and that is a tribute to the people from Vegas who come to the Park.  The Park has 37 spaces and each space has a fire pit, charcoal grill, table and ramada.  Many of the spaces will accomodate up to a 34ft fifth wheel or motorhome.  There is no power available and generator hours are until 10PM.  Water is available and a dumping station is located less that a half mile from the campground.  There are restrooms with showers and HOT water.  A boat launch and dock with slips is available also.  Many people fish off of the end of the dock.  Eagle Valley Resort is about a mile away with a general store and bar with poker machines.  After all, This is NEVADA and gambling is legal.  The reservior is 59 acre feet and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.  Places are available to run your ATV and use your 4 wheel drive vehicles.  The fishing is great and the Reservoir is stocked with Rainbow, Brown and Tiger Trout.  Stop up and see us and have some fun.  It's here.

This year we will be renting  out the boats from Eagle Valley Resort.  You can call or go to our office at the resort and reserve a boat.  Mastercard or Visa are required to hold a boat.  We will transport the boat to a slip at the reservoir and we will pay for that slip. You will return the boat to that slip after each use and when you are done with the boat you can call or drop by the office.  We will have everything in the boat that you need for safe boating:  life jacket for each occupant, oars for emergency use,  fire extinguisher approved for marine use, and two anchors which will keep the boat from spinning around while you are still fishing.

All of the pictures below are of campsites along the stream which comes out of Eagle Valley Reservoir. You can camp in these sites free as opposed to $20 per night in the Nevada Division of State Parks Campground, which is a wonderful place with showers and ramadas and firepits and free boat launching. I am not trying
 to discourage campers from the pay campground only suggesting other alternatives if you are short on cash or the Campground is full.

  Big Fish Boat Rentals has a gift certificate which can be purchased by calling or emailing  Dennis and we will send your gift certificate to the person for whom you purchased it or send it to you to send to them.  You can either rent a boat with the certificate or buy a cord of firewood to be delivered and stacked whenever you wish.  Payment can be by check, Discover card, MC or Visa.  So if someone's birthday or anniversary is coming up soon maybe this is just another idea for a gift.  Firewood is a great Christmas gift and we deliver all over Vegas and Henderson.
